So i'm in a position where my G73jw's GPU fan has begun to grind
So i sent it to the local PC shop to get them to figure out what was wrong, hoping they could fix it
I hesitated to sending it in to Asus because i changed my ram and i think that broke the warranty

here's my question

Would it be possible to Purchase the Asus GPU Fan from asus support? without sending the computer in? have had alot of bad experiences with support waiting 2 months to replace the parts and then sending it back only to malfunction a few weeks later, not saying asus support sucks but i prefer trusting my local pc store

I've been googling around and everywhere the GPU fan or just the fan in general seems to be out of stock

Part Number: 13GNY81AM050-1

Hey Tar,

You'd have to negotiate this with your local RMA center. The problem is - replacing it yourself will void the warranty, despite the fact it's still within warranty now. You could ask the cost of it and see if they can post one out.
