Hey all,
I'm looking to upgrade my current system by the end of spring. My current 'wanted' list is the following:
CPU: Intel 3930-K
MB: Asus RIVE
Memory: Corsair XMS 3 32GB
PSU: CoolerMaster Silent Pro M 1000W
CPU Cooling: Corsair H80
I would keep my Intel SSD, OCZ SSD and 2 Samsung SPinpoint drives from my current system. I'm pretty sure about that list although any remarks or critique are welcome.
Here's where it breaks my nuts:
I have an Asus GTX570 dcii running in my current system which I would also like to transfer to my upgrade.
Originally I wanted to buy an extra Asus GTX570dcii and go SLI. This would be my first SLI system and I'm wondering if games are still having SLI problems?
Option 2: Sell the GTX570 and go for a GTX590?
Option 3: Wait for the Kepler gpu's and see what that brings?
Also my current case is the CoolerMaster Storm Enforcer. I love this case but I'm afraid it might not deliver enough decent airflow with my upgrade. This case comes standard with a 200mm fan in front and a 120mm fan in the back. I've added an extra 200mm fan up top. Both the 200mm fans are intake, the 120mm in the back blows all the air outside the case. Should I consider upgrading case too?
Thanks in advance, I'm loving this forum :)
