Hey all,

I am putting together my first watercooled setup and had a couple questions, I have a Maximus Extreme IV Z motherboard and I notice a very very slight sag on my EVGA GTX 580 Hydrocopper. I checked all my standoffs on my Corsair 800D case and everything is the right height and there are only the 9 standoffs needed for ATX.

Should I be worried ? It is hardly noticeable and I have seen screenshots where others have watercooled gpus where the cards have a much more noticeable sag and things seem to be OK. I assume this is from the weight of the block and heatsink. Any how this is my first ROG board and I am new to the forums so any help would be much appreciated :)

I am attaching a screenshot for you guys to see what I am talking about, maybe my PCB is slightly warped?

Not sure about the sag, but the rest is a very nice collection of components for your build. I especially like the Maximus Extreme IV Z and Hydrocopper card choices.

Thanks Black4! Yeah I ended up reading a bunch of different threads on various forums about sagging GPUs and it seems to be fine as long as temps and everything is as it should be.

Dimsum,
There are some concerns about sag mentioned in this video from Newegg about ASUS GTX5XX graphics cards : http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121432&Tpk=asus+gtx+570&fb_source=message

However, I would just ensure that the liquid-cooling plumbing is not contributing to any sag by pressing against the card. Otherwise, it should be Ok.
