I recently purchased the crosshair formula v and want to use corsair dominator-gt's

They are 4x4GB @2000mhz 9-10-9-27-2T 1.65v (CMT8GX3M2A2000C9)

I am new to AMD, (Former Intel junkie) and would like to make these work if possible. 1. because they are fast, and 2. , they make my system look effin hot!

I know they arent on the QVL, but is it possible for these to run at speed and safely?

And if not, could someone reccomend the best 2133 DDR3 memory for the Formula V

What CPU are you planning on using, with AMD the CPU is more important when we talk about clocking the RAM speed. But yeah they do look good. :p

Nice CPU for memory clocking. Yes your ram selection will perform well. Unlike current Intel ram clocking it takes a bit more effort to clock AMD once you get your ram and play around in the BIOS you will see it is not a problem at all. I liked the CHV and the 8150 when I played with it.
