Hi Guys, I need a little Help here, I am planning to upgrade my current Personal Gaming Rig but i can't decided between some Products. Currently I have a Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3P as my Motherboard, a MSI GTX560 TI Hawk as my Graphics Card, an Intel Core I5 2500K overclocked to 4.0GHZ, a Cooler Master M2 520W Power Supply and 8GB of Corsair DDR3-1600 Vengeance RAM. Now I am planning to either get a Sabertooth Z77, or a Asus P8Z77 Deluxe as my motherboard. I am also considering either a GTX580 or a MSI GTX680 Twin Frozr 3. I am Planning to get a Ivy Bridge Core, Most likely a I7. Then Im planning to get a Corsair AX850W Power Supply, 2x8GB Modules Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM, an Intel 520 480GB SSD either for Caching (if I get the Deluxe) or for my Main Drive and a H80 Cooler for my CPU.

Mobo: Gigabye GA-Z68XP-UD3P
GPU: MSI GTX560 TI Hawk
CPU: I5 2500K

RAM: 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3-1600
DVDR: Asus DVDRW

580 vs 680 = depends on the price and whats your budget.
the 680 is a pciex 3.0 ( and the z11 is pciex 3.0 ready ) and if you gona buy one more later, get the same as your first card ( dont mix 2 brands )
580 is 2.0 ( that i know of now )
and for the ssd i would run 1 for os, 1 for gaming ( dont have to be more then a 120 for os if you dont have plans to instal loads of programs )
and a hdd for other things like storage.
and the I7 you can upgrade later if you want to.

thats my opinnion :)

Upgrades TBD
Mobo: Asus TUF Sabertooth Z77/ Asus P8Z77 Deluxe

Either is a good option and will clock like a dream.

GPU: GTX580 Custom Cooler / MSI GTX680 Twin Frozr III

GTX680 is sweet but from a price to performance currently the 58O is a better buy.

CPU: I7 3770K (Unreleased)

3570K is a good CPU and $100 cheaper, work out if you want HT for an additional £100

PSU: Corsair AX850

Nice

RAM: 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3

Might want to explore other ram options not totally happy with the Vengence range.

SSD: Intel 520 SSD 480GB

Really nice I like these big time.

CPU HeatSink: Corsair H80

Might want to look at the H100 the Ivy is pretty hot as a CPU if you overclock.

I can't fit the H100 in my current case, and i currently have spacing problems. I got plenty of money right now so i wanna go withthe 3770K. Ill see what else my local store has to offer In RAM, cause many of them sell only Vengeance or other BAD kinds of RAM, so yeah. Im planning to go for a 580 lightning since they are on Cleanout sale at one of the stores I go to, maybe go SLI as well.

Oh and also, my friend gave me an Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 for my birthday, should i use it instead of the Z77 Sabertooth, currently its in my rig and its doing OK! Except for the Overclocking part.

Welcome Spartan.

Last point first. Is "OK" your goal ? Question answered.
(No disrespect to The AlsoRans .. As HiViz pointed out once --
"There is only forward for him." -- @ ROG everything else is 2nd Best.
Why look back ? The Victory is before you.

As to your upgrade :: Sweet.
My only advice is of the personal preference kind:
I prefer Dominator GT ram - in general.
I prefer Asus/ROG Gpu's ... ROG Boards.

Prefered Manufacturers >>> Asus/ROG - CoolerMaster - Corsair

AMD/Intel ? Wile E. Coyote - EveryTime.
Best of Luck ..... SaberTooth ... yum.c.

What about some of these? They are ROG and look great!:

If money is no problem, forget the cleanout sale. Go ROG...way up!

Forget about H100...bottle everything...and let me drink!

OK is not my goal. I would like a better Desktop, so I guess ill go on with my Upgrade, Ill check on other RAM, as HiViz said, Vengeance isn't really good, I only chose it because the Heat Spreader looks good. Ill check out ROG GPUs, the Matrix looks good and I can buy it at my Local store, I was gonna get a MARS II but its so EXPENSIVE.

If you have a lot of extra money perhaps invest it in a bigger case to house your components? I own the haf x by coolermaster and just love it.

Also as mentioned above i've heard lffy things about the vengance ram (although it was when it was first released so they may have fixed the problems since then) i use dominator gt's and find them to overclock very well (and look nice on my r4e :D ) If you are thinking of upgrading your rig or adding a second 580 for sli, you might want to look at a bigger psu aswell

I would love too but ive got Spacing problems in my home currently. And the study as well, my Work Rig in the Study are Componets leftover from Old Desktops. That has a Small case, and the one im upgrading is in my room. My maximum i can go is 500mm for length and 550mm for the Height. Width isnt that much of a problem.

Im pretty sure it will fit your space budget, (unless my math is wrong),take a look at http://www.corsair.com/pc-cases/carbide-series-pc-case/carbide-series-400r-mid-tower-case.html

Nice, but i would like a window to view my Components, I have a DF30 from Antec and its pretty good, just no dual Radiator and no cable management. The 400R is good though, i might consider it.

I just bought the Intel 520 Series SSD, I got 2 of them and Im running them in raid 0 for my Boot Drive, THEY ARE EPIC FAST, like the Vertex 4 my Dad bought for my Work Rig. I don't know which is faster though, they are the same too me.

The df30 does look nice, perhaps you could mod your own cable management into it to suit your needs? I found another corsair case (they seems to just make some great cases, expecially for your needs) http://www.corsair.com/pc-cases/graphite-series-pc-case/special-edition-white-graphite-series-600t-mid-tower-case.html A bit more money, but it has everything that you need and more on top of looking very sexy!

For your SSD's they sound amazing! I know that intel makes great quality and speed ssd's but with them also being a bit more expensive than other brands. If your currious of speeds between the two, download crystal disc mark and compare the speeds of the two

The 600t is too big, but i'm trying to find somebody to help me mod the 400r or 500r to a side panel window. They are great cases and I like them both, just don't know which too chose, and which is easier to mod.

Im right now looking at alienware and all i can say is, its not ****ing worth it, the desktop i use for work has a better graphics card, an ssd, and a larger hdd for about 2000 less
