Hey guys! Today at job I had to test few 5450 since few people seems to have problem with them. After testing them to see if they first work and have display, I noticed that the card were hotter then a GTX480. I use silent card in all the computer we have at work but the cooler on these 3450 and 4350 are a bit bigger. The 5450 ( LP one ) are getting incredibly hot which make some of them to fail when in a case with a low airflow. This is just something I noticed on few card and I want to report so maybe someone can work something on it.

I agree, any PC i have put the 5450 into i manually add directional airflow to the cards heat sink to avoid failure.

a much larger heat sink is needed for the thermals on this card, in a hot case it feels like it can start a fire!

Yeah. If you look like a 4350 the heatsink is way bigger and work nice. I am still wondering why Asus have let this little tiny cooler come out.
