Hey, I was thinking of getting the Thermaltake Chaser MK-I and putting an H100 in the front, as an intake. I want to know if I could pass the part that goes on the cpu through the HDD cages or behind them and if it would even reach., because then I could have the two 200MM fans you get with the case on the top as exhaust. If this is possible, it would be very efficent, don't you think?

Also, before I go for the Thermaltake Chaser MK-I, I wanna know if Corsair will release any cases from the Obsidian series anytime this year?

Sincerely, Merphal, I have doubts about the H100's tubes reaching the front of the case... They're too short for that...

However, you should be able to mount the H100 in the Chaser MK-1 on the top, below the 200mm fans. At least, that way you can stay with the stock fans, no need additional ones for a push-pull configuration... :)

Check out this video (be aware that the music is... well, let's just say strange): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0iNedBOzLA

Yeah, but I thought that the radiator would recieve more cold air if it were to be used as an intake instead of exhaust. If I were to use it as exhaust, I would waste the two 200MM slots on the top to the radiator. Is there any closed LCS that its radiator could fit in the front(including its fans)? And is the Corsair 650D better than the Chaser MK-1?

EDIT: I just finished seeing the video. What he did there is not what I ment, I ment to put the 200MM fan you get in the front to the top with the exsisting 200MM fan there and put the radiator in the front so you would have the radiator as part of the intake system and two gigantic 200MM fans for exhaust.

That's my point, you WON'T LOSE those 200mm fans! They would nicely complement the stocks fan's work. Did you check the video? Did you see that the guy left the 200mm fans on the top?

There are different closed kits, but the place of that front fan may be too tight to fit a radiator+fans without some modding (moving the storage cage backward).

And you're right, it would be better if the radiator could be feed with cool air from outside - but with the H100 this is hard to accomplish. Unless you're making it intake on the top... But I really would not advise you to do so....

Not sure what are the specs of your other components, but you could consider the H80 too... Put it on the rear fan place and you can make it intake too.

For me, yes, the Corsair 650d is better - I mean, I like it better.
