Welcome HomieStar to ROG ..

850 should be plenty .. I use a 650 without issue with 2 x 6850
Im not a fan of the RAM - but others have had great success with it ..
As to the Corsair .. that answers itself .. unless there is a sale .. its the $80 one..

Best of Luck .... noob ? hahahhaha .... Friend, noobs dont find this forum 'first'.
Noobs already know it all .. rush in .. find 'here' by accident or frustration ...
when the proverbial you know what hits the fan ... hahahhaa
You will do well ... doors always open .. hope to see those pics soon.c.

Thanks chrsplmr! The main thing i was worried about i guess is is 850 too much headroom? or does it really matter? And found the water cooling system you mentioned! I plan on making this thing as clean as I can get it wire management wise.

Thanks again c:

on the cooling to the cpu there are those who run the H100 on this forum ( 2x120 fan radiator ) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181017
but i guess you can do a H80 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181016
but the price is over $100 on both.
you have the H60 too http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181015
but i have no one of those so i cant say for shure whats best, but the H100 wouldent be a baad choice if so.

You can go and verify it on Corsair's website: http://www.corsair.com/learn_n_explore?id=12373

Or, if you want GSkill, you can check out what one of our fellows posted today: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?16277-First-Build-prospect/page2
