Im new to the forum guys, and just like to introduce myself first aha.

My name is Chris, obviously, im actually new to gaming on PC as well.

anyways, my main question was where i could purchase the crosshair v formula now that it has been released!

Links would be perfect if it is not a violation of forum rules!

My totally unofficial estimate is that you'll see some retailers start offering them for sale next week.

I am a little more interested when we might see the mobo's in retail stores. Normally I would just order online but my current position is not feasible for that. I am away doing a job in another state and I am not going to be staying in the same hotel/apartment to guarantee it to be delivered to the right place.

Now I am in a place where there are a few CompUSA stores around. I'm in Orlando. I am just wondering when they will get it. It should be at the same time that TigerDirect gets them as they are the same. But TigerDirect does not have them yet. I am wondering if that is do to the fact that they sale retail. Like if the retail release is not allowed yet.

So my question is does anyone have any idea when ASUS will release the 990fx mobo's for retail sales?

I do not care if it is the Croasshair V or the Sabertooth 990FX. I just would prefer an ASUS mobo. I have only used ASUS boards, so you could say I am a fan of them. I really would like to finish off this build and the mobo is holding me up. Any news on when I can go into a store and buy one would be greatly appreciated.

Ah nice thanks. for that. They were not there when I checked last night. They must have just got them. I've been checking every day.
They are on the CompUSA page as well now. Except it says online only.

I may just go over there and see if they have any in stock anyways. If not I'll still probably buy something else for my computer. :)
