I'm starting this thread to post bugs found on CrossHair V

Bug bios 0506:

Unable to boot from AMD RAID when USB pendrive is connected and marked as disabled on the "Hard Drive BBS Properties" page.

Hardware:
- two intel SSD's on port 0 and 1 of the onboard AMD SATA Controler, configured on RAID bios as RAID-0, named SYSTEM
- two 1TB Samsung HDD on porto 2 and 3 of the onboard AMD sata Controler, configured on RAID bios as RAID-0, named DATA
- one ASUS DVD-RW on port 4
- one Pionner DVD-RW on port 5
- one 1TB Samsung HDD on ASMEDIA SATA Port
- one 2GB OCZ rallye2 USB PenDrive connected to a hub that is then connected to motherboard
- one lian-li multi card reader connected to motherboard

Bios:
- ports 0-4 configured as RAID
- ports 5-6 configured as IDE
- ASMEDIA sata Port enabled as AHCI, ASMEDIA bios disabled.
- first boot device is ASUS DVD-RW
- second boot device is SYSTEM RAID-0

Problem:
- when the pendrive is connected, if I mark it as disabled on the "Hard Drive BBS Properties" page, the system will not boot. removing the pendrive or marking it as enabled will allow the system to boot.

Other:
- enabling / disabling other devices like the DATA RAID-0 or the multiple usb devices that are detected ( card reader stuff ), will not interfere with the booting process.

Does it matter what the boot order is? I'm guessing that this is because it always checks flash drives first (for BIOS flashing purposes) so if there is one present but disabled it doesn't know what to do.

it only checks for flash drives if:
a) flash drive is somewhere on the boot order ( in my case it isn't )
b) bios is corrupted and is mb is booting from bootblock to allow bios recovery.
