So I'm upgrading my PC from a old AMD Athlon x2 4000, 6gb DDR3 ram and an 8600GT to a 1075t, Crosshair V Motherboard, 8GB of Mushkin Radioactive, Asus 6850 Direct CU card, and a 700w Mushkin PSU and I have a few questions.
Will the "8GB Mushkin Radioactive #997005 (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz 9-9-9-24" work with the Crosshair V, I Keep seeing people having RAM issues such as Sticks not working in this board but working in others, Changing from C1 to C2 (Whatever that means) and having drive issues with the LAN and It's kind of concerning since I want to make sure the motherboard works when I get it and not have to RMA it. As well as having BIOS Problems.
So In short I was wondering of the RAM I picked would work with the motherboard without any issues out of the box and when is the LAN issue going to be fixed because I don't want to build a computer that's going to BSOD on me every time I download a big file.
I would just like to get this all cleared up before I make the purchase, thats all.
I Don't plan on over clocking the RAM Maybe the CPU to as close to 4ghz as I can but that's it. and I was also wondering could I Flash the BIOS to the latest version without a memory stick and just have the file on a Hard Drive and what should I expect to see from the BIOS flash so I know it's either failed or worked and what should I do if it fails?
Thanks.
