I just OCed it went to 4.3ghz. Is it normal for the pc on boot up to turn off after 5-10 secs and turn on again on its own and run normally without any OC press F1 errors? Coz that is happening with my mobo right now. No abnormalities in the voltage and temps are running smooth, tried running Crysis 2 for an hour, no problems at all, no bsod.

Im using Intel i5 2500k btw.

Hi,

Set BCLK to 100.0MHz exactly and that should stop the double-POST.

Thank you! Ill give it a shot later. btw, this only happens on Cold Boot up, turning on the PC after a few hours it being off. Anyway, ill give post here as soon as I get it working or not. thank you again!

I had this happening to me too, now fixed (Thanks Raja)... Just curious - why is there a double-POST after a cold boot if the BLCK is set above 100.0MHz ...?

Just the way the system needs to POST when BLCK is offset due to the Sandybridge architecture. Without that "feature", higher BCLKs would require creeping up on like on other vendor boards.
