Hey
i just wanted to ask which of the both graphic cards ya would recommend

ASUS EAH6950 DCII/2DI4S or ASUS MATRIX 5870 P/2DIS/2GD5

I checked the data of both,
the MATRIX 5870 P seems to be still faster
but the design of the EAH6950 is just godlike :D
Prices seems to be nearly the same too

So whats your opinion?

What board? OK, one of each.
Tough call... this is like chey or ford?
Both get there. What do you like?

I usually go with best available ROG/or/Asus branded
@ time of purchase... to keep brand integrity of
the builds.... ie: coolermaster: case,power...
I'm waiting for ROG branded Ram.......Asus?
(What a can of worms that would open.)c.

i got a Crosshair V Formula....
RoG > all, im a big fan of this **** :)
Thats the reason why im asking about the MATRIX 5870 P

Is the MATRIX still that better even with an older chipset?

The design of the 6950 is in my opinions much better and the size of the card is very impressive
but at the end the performance decides....

RoG branded RAM would be awesome but thats another point,
they dont even manufacture any kind RAM so i dont think that they will go for it in the near future :P

Coolermaster PSU ? well that's not the best one they are made by Enhance , coolermaster make great case but they should choose another psu OEM manufacturer

hmm thats great^^
i got my T1100 stable (Prime) on 3,8Ghz with Vcore 1,4V
On 4Ghz i need around 1,475V so i went back to 3,8Ghz because i dont want to increase the Vcore that much for a 24/7 use.
But i think its a big diffrent between running a game and prime

Sometimes better to be lucky than good.
No 2 cpu's the same from what Ive read..
but I saw where someone spoke of degrading
the cpu over time...which made sense..
so mostly now I run it 3.3...
but it doestnt go over 40c so...
who ever really knows??? best of luck.c.

& I'm happy with the 2x6850's..

yeah..no chance of ram..what a nightmare that could be.
you never know though.. branding is branding.
