HD4000 defiantly. HDMI carries the sound for a TV. Very good quality sound I might add.
from the cheepest i3-2120 to the one i linked its about £15 apart. do you recomend the HD4000 or the HD2500 series? a friend at work asked me to put to gether a HTPC box for him ( price for now ) and hes gona use windows, and gona add a wifi card on it too, so i guess a m-atx board is more then enough for his use. have to be quiet and lots of storage, ssd for OS and hdd for storage. and it have to be a smal case ( case that can fit on a shelf/tv bench ). im thinking 8gig ram to be on the safe side ( one stick ) so he have some to go on. should i go for soundcard or onboard? ( i dont have enny HTPC exept the main pc im using )
Yip sure do. Used a 2133 cpu as a HTPC and that was great for 1080p and MKV formats. I used the XBMC as a media platform by the way.
im sorry for bugging you. do you have enny experience on motherboards whit onboard graphic and cpu's? for example : Intel® Core i3-3225 Processor Socket-LGA1155, Dual Core, 3.3GHz, 3MB, 55W, HD4000, Boxed w/fan im thinking streaming video, some internet browsing. gona be used for HTPC, or do you recomend a screencard in stead?
Yes quite easy. I have five or six SB that will do 5.4 with ease.
just a quick question, i7 2600K is it possible to get 5.4 on it?
