What should I set the settings to for best performance and cooling? I never noticed my Maximum processor state was set to 50% for both Battery and Plugged in, so I changed the Plugged in to 100%.EDIT: I have G75VX and these are the specs.

Thanks for providing that link. I've read almost everything and I know how to do all that. But where can I get the Windows 8.1 ISO file? my G75VX came with Windows 8 so I'm pretty sure I won't have to enter any keys, right?
