Okay, I will tell him, if the access point mode doesn't work either :)
The access point mode could not be used since he had to connect the Asus device to network cable.... and that is not an...
Hmm, he can connect his Apple devices on his router. But not on Asus EA-N66 3-in-1 AP/Wi-Fi Bridge/ Range Extender.
The setup on that device is set as range extender so he could get better signals...
Thank you for your reply @Area66
I was the one who told him to buy the Asus N66 so he could use it as an Access point or as a WiFi repeater or like an antenna. But I didn't know that he was going...
Hi
It's been a long time since I was last here and seek some help for a friend on this issue.
I was wondering if any of you have the same problem as my friend is experiencing with WiFi...
I'm very impressed by the new Asus Hybrid notebook :)
It makes me think, if it was possible, change the screen on my G73 and get a screen on both sides on it  :D
It would be so...
Hi @mataqs4
I would try the advice to @brecker and see if that fixes your issue with the screen.
Guide about how to disassemble G73
About the touchpad issue, go to device manager and find out if you have the Sentelic or Synaptics touchpad.
Then uninstall the current driver and reboot and let microsoft install it's plug'n'play...
See if this post by @Brodyboy fixes your issue:
I'm sorry that I haven't respond on this topic lately.

I don't believe that @shiftee needs to RMA his notebook for this. What can the repair center do then ? Change the CPU ? Asus haven't released a fix for the throttling issue, so unless there is a...
Hmm.... It could be a program that you have installed that can cause issues for you.
What you can try to do is to run "msconfig" in windows start menu. Then choose "diagnostic startup" (then all...
Okey.
You have set the battery status to "high performance" and you are connected to the power supply?
Has it always been like this or is this a new issue you recently have discovered ?
Hi @shiftee and Welcome to the ROG Community :)
Have you updated all the hardware lately? (GPU, chipset)
Also if you have Atheros WiFi card, have you updated that aswell?
Do you have any...

Hi and Welcome to the ROG Community @Shane :)
The G74SX is a very good laptop as you have described, but keep in mind if you play any games that need the num lock key, then that notebook doesn't...
Hi @Buckeyeboy
When you run the notebook on only the battery, then the notebook can't get enough juice out of it (or how I can explain that) to push the hardware to get full performance.
So...
Damn that is poor customer care from the repair center :(
Not to nag or to be mean, but I would assume that Asus could save money on giving you a new notebook, than trying to fix it and a new...
That depends on which programs you have installed and uninstalled from your notebook.
Have you updated the drivers for the hardware lately ?
(nvidia, intel hd, chipset, atheros wifi card and so...
Hi @danivill

Hi @Robert_84
