Seems it's totally luck of the draw until these boards mature a little
Well, I've switched back to my old board just to make sure that I'm not crazy. It's definitely stable with 4 cores active again.
Just remember, that this isn't just a new board, it a new board on a new platform. So it's natural that the bios won't be perfect right out of the box. Those beta bios's didn't fix the problem for...
I'm sure I will give that a try. But it will have to be when I have a few hours to spare. Which doesn't happen much these days.
I picked up this board now, because I will be getting a BD as soon as they're available. So until then, instead of unlocking I'll just O/C as far as I can go. Or maybe switch back to the good...
Hmmm, nope 0009 didn't fix it. It does seem to consistently get further into the test before freezing. But it still froze every time.

I notice on your page there is also a 0010 bios, is that one any better than the 0009?
The first release bios is all I can see on the site.
