WHat I got is this:
I tested older Crosshair V Formula, I believe with Formula-Z could be a bit better. I used this limits: CPUNB voltage 1.355 V, DRAM voltage 1.7 V, VDDA 2.6V only. Switching at...
today later I could test DRAM clocks :)
first you must to find stability only your CPU cores...So, go back with CPUNB clock and voltage at auto. Dou you cooling your VRM? For 4.6 GHz ussually 6300FX need 1.35-1.475V (depends at many...
thank you guys, next I try max memory clocks for benchmarks at air :)
and this is not the best. I tested my best FX-8350 and I push it to 5770 MHz :D. But this FX-6300 looks strong too. I think, it could be 8 GHz chip.
OK, tehre is it a few...Today I tested IMC and looks strong as hell. No way comparison Bulldozer and Vishera in this. I used max 1.35V for CPUNB clocks. CPU voltage was dropping in load, in idle was...
the best way is HT voltage, lower CPU clcoks (around 4-4.4 GHz) and higher TRFC at DRAM timings.
trfc in DRAM help with your max FSB OC....
its not the same asi cooling directly at VRM. But yes, two fans can help a bit at top of case
corectly, CPUNB voltage a bit....ANd if you have 2400 MHz DRAM, your CPUNB clock must be 2400 MHz at least too.
yes, wuth FX-8350 na d higher voltage at CPU yes. VRM is hot. Is the same situation as with SB-E and OC. For high clocks people need cooling VRM. This CPUs are power and current hungry in OC.
If you not help 2.7 at VDDA, issue is else...I think, 2.8V VDAA is unnecessary (dont help you much). Still, 4.8 GHz looks promising. You can coling VRM area too with some fan. Will be better.
TRy from lower values, example CPU mltiplier at 23x with CPU voltage 1.425V. If will be not OK (error), jump first VDDA voltage a bit (2.7V) and try again. If will be still not OK, donw VDDA to auto...
test not only PRIME (I dont like PRIME95 with FX series), example OCCT (some form last version) or AMD Overdrive stability test for 30minutes or 1h.
CraZeeY: TMax for FX is 90C in die. So this is 70-72C for Coretemp at cores. So Im fine :) Phenom II was more sensitives at temps with very high clocks (u must had it under 60C in Coretemp, the best...
voltage 1.52V in load, temps in Coretemp around 65 C (So in real are in die around 80C)
Guys, each CPU piece is different. Nonody guarantees yours 4.8 GHz OC or so. There is more factors:
1)PSU rails
2)cooling of VRM
3)right tweaking in steps
4)VID of CPU and thermal heating (low...
I was OK with 8-pin with good PSU at 8 GHz...Its good for hard CPU benchmarking with LN2, but not for superpi, validation, hexuspi etc
SOmetimes you can set higher VDDA voltage (stock is around the 2.5V), it is something as PLL at Intel chips. You can try values between 2.6-2.7V for 24/7.
The same things is for CPU/NB (dont use...
me too, SR FX some in 2014....and C6F or C7F/E board.
I think, this is some as OC Key 2 (USB front port at one way and classic USB conector cabel on second way) ?

thank you guys :), later I tested Vishera with LN2 and I got over 8100 MHz :)

thank you. Really I like new Visheras, awesome OC, very good practice performance, power consumption after OC is not so horrible as with first FXs. So...Yes, this AMD is good.
My 3rd FX-8350 :), not bad for AMD FX liquid cooler and 20C ambients :)))
I love Vishera :)...,next chip looks similar as my second chip for validation. There is a bit higher result, but I used...
