I am using my Phoebus with the SPDIF and have a strange thing.
When I connect my headset and use the micro I can always hear myself no matter what I do.

Currently testing it. The PB issue seems to be gone but I was only able to play 20 minutes so I cannot say 100%
The SPDIF issues are still there.

txfeinbergs, no idea why you got the beta driver and the rest of us not but good to hear that it seems to fix the PB issues.
Next really is fixing some strange software hickups and the SPDIF bug.

Will this "beta" driver fix the PB issue only or does it also address SPDIF issues?

Uninstall the phoebus Software too, Not only the driver then it Works.

Same here. SPDIF = Dolby Digital Live.
Each change in the sample rate makes it choppy and distorted.
I think that this is also a driver bug but only RAJA or someone other from ASUS can answer this.

I know there are drivers for the xonar Series and they are updated to work with the phoebus too....

Did you manage to get 5.1 Stereo? It is always in surround mode but what if I want the stereo sound to be delivered to all boxes?

Bought a new graphic card.
Had the choice between the Direct CU 680 from ASUS or the Zotac GTX 680 AMP Edition.
Due to the lack of support I spend my ~550 bucks on Zotac.

Haha that one is really great. Most of the new games ARE online games and ARE multiplayer. PB is used on 99% of all BF3 servers.
