You can also try an USB headphone like it was suggested, I have a Logitech G35 and it works perfectly fine. I will get a SoundBlaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro in a couple weeks tho. :D
I'm tempted to buy this software too, but since I have a 5.1 kit from Creative, I`m going to buy the SoundBlaster X-Fi 5.1 surround pro, which I believe will deliver the same audio quality. Thanks...
I've been playing it on my G73SW-A1 with the latest regular Nvidia drivers and I got something between 20 - 40 FPS on DX11... I have to write down how I let the options though, but the game is...
Be careful with what you do tho, I messed around so much with my audio that I screwed it up and now I cannot have THX to work again, and there is a new SRS tab which doesn't work either... and I...
Have you tried lowering the shadow quality in the game? It might not solve the problem but it will help a little.
you may try lowering the shadow details also... it worked for me here
Nah, the quiet office profile reduces automatically the processor's 'power level', so I think you'll be fine. I'm glad the High Performance option worked for ya :)
Well, on my computer the power 4 gear's quiet office setting reduces the maximum processor state to 70% (I think it's the default setting) so that alone should give you some kind of trouble, unless...
You should try to do what is explained on the throttling thread... it might help. I think this is a stupid question, but Hhave you changed the power settings to any other than high performance?
I think I saw a video once that showed that the video card sits under the right side of the keyboard, thats why it gets hotter (both the keyboard and the air vent on the back). I would start worrying...
Thanks Skye and Zygomorphic, and yes Skye I think this is pretty normal... like cl-scott pointed out up there, the room temperature will play an role on the overall temperature of your system.
I'm not sure about this game, but when I play Battlefield 3 my G73SW-A1 goes up to 80ēC... sometimes 85ēC. I live in Brazil, so it's mainly hot all year long ( right now we're in the middle of winter...
LMAO, I thought the same!
I keep my G73SW-A1 plugged in with the battery... been doing this since last August, without any issues. I have noticed that once in a while the battery charge drops to around 95% automatically, then...
I will try and get in touch with him... thx for the tip :)
I forgot to mention that I use the razer program for the razer mouse, and the asus one for the asus mouse, and both do not save the settings.
Hello everybody. I have been having this issue here, everytime I start or restart my G73SW-A1, I have to set the mousescrolling speed to a lower value, it never saves the config I set. This have...
my notebook is as follows:
Asus G73SW-A1
Intel Core i7 2630QM 2.0 Ghz
Windows 7 x64
GeForce GTX460M
I'm experiencing the same issue, but on a G73SW-A1... I just downloaded the latest version from the website
You guys are lucky... down here in Brazil I'm getting around 70ēC easily when playing Crysis 2 and Metro 2033, and my G73SW-A1 is exactly one month old!
Amen brother!
heh, it turns out that I had disabled it on power4gear's program, now everything's ok.
I had a similar issue with my G73SW-A1 a couple days ago... I don't recall which power setting was on, but I tried to install a game and then the drive would not respond, so I looked on My Computer...
I bought mine on August 21, so far I'm pretty impressed with it, and pretty happy too!
