I never used skype, I have no idea about how it works. But for what is worth, I am using a pair of headphones and they are rather good (and cheap). Easy fix, get a pair. I have not seen sound so bad...
No fix for me as well. I am stuck with this problem until I sell it.
What latest driver? I run signed 314.07 and I'll give this a try. With this driver the flickr seems to be gone.
No idea how long I had this one (G75VW). Maybe one year soon.
I have a topic around here with reasons why one should buy a G series (55/75 those that I had so far) and those reasons still apply. ...
Yep, cables are a pain these days. I have same problem with Samsung cables. Can't understand why.
I have a little post in my signature for OC.
Please do consider that OC is driver related as well. I had an old driver then, results mat be different now.
I think you should be fine at 70°C...
My 67Hz does not work as well as it used to on my laptop's screen. Such a shame for this extremly cool laptop.
C'mon, where is the Christmas spirit? It's not his fault, lots of people in here had a hard time with these drivers.
Well this driver does nothing really and that EQ setting with that 1k so high...
Yes. From my point of view, it's just a design failure and no software can change that. Mine works with 10600 driver (on Windows 7) as good as possible. It is far far behind any decent laptop...
Funny thing, I would still buy a new G75.
N76 for multimedia, G75 for gaming (and for that the screen itself, the speakers and so on make little difference, if any).
OK. Let's see 670M vs 670MX:
FarCry 3 on High. 38 vs. 44
Hitman Absolution on High 33 vs. 30
In the future expect better results as they will tweak the drivers.
Well, Asus made the G55 and even G75 not friendly at all. I like them as they as very cool, keep up performance very good and that is about it. Might not look like much, but when you get a laptop...
Around 25%.
Stock numbers for 3DMark 11:
670M =~ 2700-2800
675M =~ 3200-3300
670MX =~ 3500-3600
It's all about the places one uses it. So you might get 4 months, me more like one.
Taking it to service every month is not a solution.
Yep, it's dust. Compressed air should work.
Well, I do tell you guys this for weeks now. But no one reads me.
Yep, a service will activate the lights in a matter of seconds.
Other than that, it's nor exactly worth it to try some new modded BIOS. All those options really are too much and OC with a modded...
All 4 (8) cores work as they should, you only need the right app for this. I get to encode a CD in flac in a matter of seconds with 8 threads working.
Some +/- in performance is normal with every...
SO true. I've learned this the hardway. And I event did that Easy BIOS update and still got a brick.
When something bad is about to happen, it will no matter what I guess.
The only fix for me...
I was about to say that under 10600 it's OK.
Yep, why so high?
I'm still happy camper with 755/1650. And I think 1700 was the best I got on memory and 800 on GPU, stock BIOS.
You guys stop playing around with XTU. I think 105 is a good...
This should not happen anymore with a proper 10600+ driver install. If it still does, there must be some leftovers from previous drivers.
You can disable 2.1 in VIA HD Deck for as a simple...
That's cool, I'll give it a try asap.
I think Farcry is out, right?
