i have 3 dc2t's (same size) on the rampage iv extreme so it can be done no problem

unless your card is the old pci then it cannot :)

check the manual coz the 2b slot doesnt work if one of the other slots is used. i had a similar issue and returned the board...

i recently had to rma a board due to this. i thought this was a known issue with this board.

i had this too try putting the aspect ratio to 16:9 instead of auto and let me know if it works. i went back to win7 b4 i tried it.

its almost the same layout as the rampage iv extreme which I have but is incompatable with hd7000 series...

do I use 3 cards on 1 screen on my x79 system (total overkill)
or use 2 cards on my 3...

impossible as the dc2t's are triple slot cards

on the manual however on the page u suggested it states the slot im using is disabled when slot 4 is occupied.

is this slot 8x or 4x electrical?

guru3d reports it is 4x but specs seem to indicate it is 8x...

juanlo if possible can you ask what will happen if it is not fully fixable. ive emailed simon ng but hav not gotten a response. i expect full refund or free swap to next gen 8970s

hopefully if it cannot b fixed by next gen we will b allowed to trade up or rma... juanlo are you able to ask them if this is likely? having spent nearly $4500 on screens and cards is quite annoying...

if the game is battlefield 3 ill put my hand up to try the fix if u get permission to share. admittedly ive only had issues since the armoured kill expansion.

all my issues were resolved by 12.6 beta drivers apart from the new 3d mark 11 bug

with those drivers and 3dmark11 my gpu usage is 100%/50%/50% so tri fire isnt working properly. but battefield should be. maybe the lanes are slowing it down but imo it shouldnt be that noticable. i...

depending what u are doing or playing it may not b able to use all 3 cards. i.e. skyrim no. battlegield 3 yes.

this happened to me too with latest drivers. just try disabling eyefinity back to 1 1080p screen and reconfigure eyefinity again. sometimes it takes a few tries.
