A friend with more experience came over and removed the processor, inspected, and reseated it, he assures me everything is hooked up properly, no idea why it isn't working.

I have reseated the processor, pins are all lined up. The ram is corsair vengence seriel number on back CM3X4GBA1600C9V4

I followed all your instructions, still having the same issue. What should my next move be, any help is greatly appreciated.

This is my first asus motherboard, can you tell me what Bios flashback is and how to do that when the thing wont boot at all, I am a bit confused.

I have an Intel X79 3930 in it.
One stick of Corsair 4gb 1600mhz Ram.
A Nvidia GTX 260 that I know for 100% sure works hooked to a monitor I know works.
No disk drives or hard drives even plunged...
