True. But the 4 GB RAM sticks nowadays are insanely cheap.
So, your laptop's price was way much lower than in India.

Just to compare with previous prices, I got mine (1st 3D batch) from the States at $1979.
Added the customs duty and delivery fees to China of around $500.
The G74SX-DH73-3D with a slightly upgraded CPU, wins..

I didn't even think of it that way......I comletly forgot that 4 gig sticks are cheaper now.....I remember the days when 1 gig cost me 100 bucks...lol....anyways, i am glad i lucked out on my system.

Thanks everyone for your replies! Actually, the Indian website just says there is the G74sx, nothing more, so thats kind of new. Anyways, thanks everyone for your help.
