The fan grille on the back covered half way?

Hey guys,

Noticed grill on the back (the one on the right - the exhaust one) is covered half-way by plastic on my G74SX what is the reason for this?

That's by design. The actual exhaust ports are off center, but they designed that "grill" to look symmetrical and centered on the back of the chassis.
