Crosshair V new build: downloads constantly interrupting on all web browsers?

Trying to find a Win7 x64 compatible driver for a 2001-era card!

After all the help received yesterday, I have been sent back for more advice!

The motherboard is a Crosshair Formula with just the Intel LAN, rather than the Thunderbolt. On IE 9 (*spit*), Google Chrome and Firefox, every download from the smallest to the largest constantly interrupts. Husband has tried downloading the same files on his laptop and on my PC (both of which are on the same network as his new build) and on those there is no problem with downloading any files.

Is there some tweak to the settings required, or is there a fix for this out there somewhere, please?

Same Network... Different Drivers On Network Cards... Make Sure You Have The Latest Updates etc..
