    7970 Crossfire OC Help

Ok so this is my first crossfire setup, and i need some help/advise. I have been using AMD Overdrive to OC my GPU's and have noticed that with CF turned on my secondary card doesn't like to be OC'd. It causes BF3 to freeze every time i tweak it even 5Mhz from stock on either core clock, or memory. I have even moved the power control to +20 with no help. I just downloaded GPU tweak to see if i can mess with it to get better results, but any advice would be great. Thanks guys.

Oh and 1 more thing, i think this is related to both RAMDisk and Super Cache 5, but my shutdown time is like 3+ min. Any clues?

Ok so GPU Tweak seems to tweak both cards when in CF accordingly. Im about to test using GPU Tweak to see if game crashes.

Any suggestions on a GPU Stability tool?

The best tool to use is your favourite game I guess.

But if you want a real test to see if your card is stable use http://unigine.com/ That really works.

cool thanks. Just had a dxgkrnl.sys BSOD.....but was just playing BF3 on full ultra @ ~60-65 FPS with no problems for about 15min....i think it immature drivers to be honest. I think time will will cure this wound...

Just realized that was at stock clocks lol.....testing again.....i feel a BSOD coming on!

EDIT: The above frame rate was using eyefinity @ 5280x1920

Furmark is a very intense VGA stress test, I will use it when i do not have the luxury of running burn in tests for longer periods of time.
