Thread: Vertex 3 driver??, pleae help

    On the Rampage IV Formula the auxiliary power supply to the PCIe lanes is via a four bin molex type connector.
    3 series MIVE, MIVG BIOS FLASH GUIDE
    RAID GUIDE * Memtest86+ GUIDE * CAP GUIDE * USB BIOS Flahsback GUIDE * Win8 Rampage Install

    ONLY IF 2003 BIOS or NEWER
    To Flash back to 1xxx.ROM, Rename 1xxx.rom to ERALL.ROM and Use USB Flashback

    I knew the OCZ is the worst crap money can by, but i will give it a try.. But i dont know how to update the driver, cant find it..

    X79 is not supported my friend. No driver

    Why is everyone having troubles with the Vertex 3's? I have 3 of them in my X79 rig and all work great. I did not even do the firmware update. I have one for OS only, one for games, and one for SSD Cache paired with a WB Cavier Green 2TB HHD.

    I get incredible speeds with them, and not to mention I also have them in my G74 and Maximus rig.

    So I take it the drive does not show in BIOS? You may need to RMA if this is a new SSD. I had one go bad that would not be regconized righ out of the box. They are great for speed, but they are known for their RMA record.....

    7 hours, and no working Vertex 3 for me, tried both sata ports. This mobo rocks BIGTIME (Sound nice).. temp 27c

    Only one thing missing, i want the Vertex to work for me.. BSOD

    Yes, i have installed win one time fully...

    But there was some bsod, afterwards
