Memory Issue on Maximus IV GENE-Z

I'm using 2 x 4Gb Corsair Vengeance (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9), they only seem to work in memory slots A1 and A2. If I try to use any other combination my computer POSTs code 58 resets once and POSTs code 58 again and goe no further.

Today I bought another two memory modules as mentioned above and filled all four slots - but still get code 58 and the computer won't boot.. does anyone have any suggestions?

    Motherboard : Maximus IV GENE-Z
    CPU Type : i7-2600 LGA1155
    Operating System : Windows 7 64bit

Requested technical assistance at vip.asus five days ago and still have no reply.

    Please help!

    Reseat your CPU.

Dimm slots not working are often the result of unequal pressure on the CPU. Remove the CPU completely not just the cooler.

Same time check for stuff in the Dimm slot that might be causing a problem.
