    Microphone Quiet

Hey guys, I've noticed the microphone on my ROG Vulcan is very quiet, all settings are correct and mic boost is +10dB, it's very quiet, I could turn mic boost up more, but it shouldn't have to be on atall when the microphones being used properly.

Any ideas? Drivers say up to date, turned up to 100%, mic boost improves it slightly.

    Thanks in advance

Actually mic boost isn't unusual at all for an unpowered headset mic. Every headset mic I've owned required using pretty much max boost.

Front jacks or rear? Do you have another headset to try on the rear jack to compare required gain/boost?
