Every other part in the system still works just fine. I did go and get a new 3930K and a new motherboard but the cpu was fine as was the ram and video card. The psu is works just fine with the asrock board. I cant hardly stand to look at my computer at this point.

Its about time for me to call and see why I haven't gotten an email about stock. It has been just about 24 hours.

Yes, you should call but FYI I recently went through an advance RMA and the 24 hour turn around ended up being more like 3 or 4 business days.

The person I talked to yesterday some how didn't finish the transaction or actually finish his job yesterday so they didn't do the stock check. The guy is supposedly on break right now and will be back in 20 minutes. The tech or who ever I talked to today told me I would get an email with in 25 minutes today. The call ended at 2:25 p.m. central time.

Once again no email. I waited 25 minutes even gave them an extra 15 minutes and still no email reply. I may be harsh but the 25 minute time frame was his call and not mine.

Ok now it gets better apparently he wasn't on break but is home sick now. He also did not turn in the stock check information. So the guy I talked to on the phone this time said he put in the stock check in this time him self and said I should be hearing back by some time by Monday. He also said the person that didn't send the stock check is in some kind of trouble. At this point I'm not sure I believe any of it.

Called back again to check on the status of the rma since I keep getting different information. Now the guy is saying that it will be as long as Thursday before they even know if they have any in stock. Are you kidding me? It takes all of about 30 seconds to check a database to see if it is in stock. How hard can it be to do these peoples job that they cant get their story straight and it takes a week to check a database for stock when they originally told me it would be with in 24 hours?

Oh and yes I will be posting about every conversation I have with the asus tech support people so people know what kind of BS people have to deal with even after being granted an rma.
