Well it's been a few days and now i'm having some weird and ridiculous problems... Trying to play Oblivion of all games and on a standard install my Xfire setup with these cards is useless and i can't get anymore than 50fps at the best of times. I have all settings to max and AA turned off in CCC as well as in Oblivion and yet still these cards never cease to amaze me. Oh and did i mention the BSOD! Bad Pool Header crash when launching oblivion every couple of times..... For these cards not to be able to play a DX9 game absolutely disgusts me.

i got games crashing when i used the profiles in CCC

i left its to let the game decide and all works well. older games have been fine and most new, games i got issues with are Sniper Elite V2 in eyefinity same place on a level it crashes or BSOD my PC in single screen its all good, my mates got it and doesnt have the problem but he dont have a 7970, hes got my old 6970's and also in Skyrim with my old 6970's i could hack the game to work eyefinity and it was fine, now i hack eyefinity and its BSOD or Crashes to DT or now this is the fun part furing game play it just random changing from eyefinity to all 3 screens being the same and then back to eyefinity.

new drivers should be out soon as a beta, if that doesnt sort it im taking it back for a new one or a different kind and brand, reason for that, no help on here what so ever with a MAYBE or POSSIBLE feedback help or solution

Bet you're wishing that you never gave up those 6970's.....
I seem to have fixed my issue for now by underclocking the card but yeah that's not my idea of a permanant solution. Too right about this new "beta" driver, if it don't fix the current errors than i'll get a refund i think.

BTW, has anyone managed to fix the issue with the card in slot 1 running at x8 3.0? Still having this problem and can't find an answer anywhere.....

nope i still got that issue aswell. and if its a power saving feature why the hel cant we turn the damn thing off to suit OUR needs and wants ?

Reason i posted my GTX 680 resualts mate, was cause ive gone through 6 thats right 6 of these 7970 cards all with issues. These no help from ASUS nor from AMD. (after 4 releases of drvies from AMD still same issues) ASUS doesnt help AT ALL!! post here get no feedback from them, contact them got no help except to take back to retailer. and around and around it goes. got 1 GTX 680 (ASUS BRAND LOL) AND NO ISSUES what so ever. I posted my resualts cause i want the people here to see how easy the GTX 680 was compared to the 7970 which i have tryed very hard to get going but after 6 cards and little to no help im over AMD. and i bit mad at asus too. But what i find funny Spoony is how you and everyone here is having the issues issues with these cards and little to NO help for it. Plus ASUS lied about there GPU Tweak posting on the site it will be released in march when they didnt meet the dead line to have the new version out which should be able to record they changed what they said to the 3rd quater... now if you check theres no date at all for when this will be released. just 1 more example lol. (ALSO if you go to AMD website and go to download drivers on the left it says got a 7970 we want your feedback... click it and its a dead link been that way since the cards came out) pretty bad really. Anyways i got a working card now ive posted my exp in this whole thing and you can take from it what you want but for now im out. laters

but all should be getting involved so that Asus can make things better for us all

asus are good but not with everything and if they inprove that then they will be great, support for mobo's is epic but gpu is shocking i want to help them so they help us.
