    That is about it.
Ok thanks, but I can't even get any display on my monitor so I don't know if I can run the memtest anymore. What should I do?

    Not even BIOS?
MB still may recognise it in. Anyway i would try to update/downgread them if i get in the os. all so look how high your TEMPs are when you are in and it crases.
I have 4x4GB RAM. I will go and do as you said with just one slot of RAM on the furthest DIMM and report back with what happens. I still don't get how it can be my RAM that is the problem, I didn't touch it upon changing out my graphics card.

What kind of voltage should I be going for? Also, what page of the BIOS do I have to be on to edit my PCI-E slot's voltage.

Ok quick update, I managed to get it to boot to the Operating System using one stick of RAM in the furthest slot from the CPU.

    What should I do now?

I'm thinking of running memtest and installing the latest graphic drivers but need some guidance before I do anything stupid.

    Please help.

Do the test for all the RAMs one by one like HiVizMan told.
If all mem sticks come out clean without erros, then but all RAMs back again and setup the memory like RAJA recommends.
    Heres the post: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread...untry=&status=

After that try that system again. GL

Ok, this is really weird. I had my memtest all ready to go (USB 4.2 version). I reset my PC from the Operating System but it didn't start up again. Just went back to the red VGA LED light.

I've tried it with all 4 RAM sticks in the furthest slot but didn't get it to go to the Operating System.

What should I do? I've read up a bit about people with the same problem and they seem to be 'resetting CMOS' or 'taking the battery out of the motherboard'.

    I'm starting to get frustrated.

OK lets do this by numbers.

    1. Remove all PSU connectors
    2. Remove VGA
    3. Remove DDR3 ram
    4. Remove all HDD connectors
    5. Remove Keyboard and Mouse
    6. Remove all USB devices
    7. Remove the battery
    8. Optional but recommended – Remove your motherboard from the case and place on top of the box your board came it.
    9. Optional but recommended– Remove the processor and inspect the pins carefully. A high res photo is a good idea, taken from different angles.
    10. Press the start button on your motherboard for 5 seconds to remove any residual current from the capacitors.
    11. Hold down for a slow count of 3 the clear CMOS button (or jumper)
    12. Leave your board like that for 12 hours (overnight)
    13. Assemble your PC in the following order
    14. CPU and cooler
    15. DDR ram – one stick of ram in the furtherest slot from the CPU
    16. VGA – one only
    17. No HDD
    18. Mouse and Keyboard
    19. Connect the PCIe power connectors to the VGA if needed
    20. With the board still on the cardboard box connect the 12v CPU connector
    21. Connect the 24 pin power connector
    22. Connect the PSU to the wall socket
    23. Power up your system
    24. Go to BIOS
    25. F5 enter
    26. F10 enter
    27. Go to BIOS
    28. Navigate to Tools
    29. EZFlash2
    30. Use a FAT formatted USB stick drive with the BIOS version you prefer to flash your board.
    31. Reboot– you will be instructed to reboot at the conclusion of a successful BIOS flash.
    32. Boot to BIOS
    33. Power off
    34. Install the hard drive with your OS
    35. Boot to OS
    36. Power down
    37. Install the rest of the hardware.

HiVizMan - I'll get started as soon as possible. Just seems a real shame that I have to rebuild my whole system. I'm especially cautious to go anywhere near my CPU as it was a struggle to install the Corsair H70 water cooler.

How do I go about checking the battery? I'm not even sure what part it is, how do I take it out?

Ah that is a clue, it might just be that you have uneven pressure on your CPU and that can result in a memory issue. Especially not picking up all the sticks.

Bite the bullet and just take it one step at a time.
