Question Sabertooth Z77 Boot Dirve Limtations???

i was curious if the Sabertooth Z77 can use a HITACHI H3IK40003272SP (0S03355) 4TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s as the main OS drive with a Corsair Force Series 3 SSD cache drive? i am planing at least 3 4tb drives with a cache SSD or a 240gb SSD boot drive and 2 4tb drives for multimedia storage and projects. so my question is which would be a better option in everyone's opinion?

I will not use a full 4TB as OS partition for sure. Even if you make a smaller partition for the c: if Windows is working on the rest of the drive ( example, for indexing) it will slow like hell the c: partition too. I prefer your 240 SSD option for the OS drive

I have PC that run well on a 64 gb, and with Windows, Office and other softwares install I use only 34 GB , so it's depend on how many games you will put on the SSD, If your game are on steam, you can use steammover to place only the one you use most on the SSD. In my case, since only BF3 is not on Steam, 120 gb will be plenty,

    an Intel 240 gb is $ 340

    and an Intel 120 is $ 170

so it's the same price / gb

here a link for steam mover

That is one hella gaming machine, if your playing wow i don't think you would really need that much power to play that game. Any online games actaully. Though if you really have that much money to spend then i suggest you go with it. But I must ask. What case are you getting or do you already have one. Because the h100 is one HUGEASS cooler that cant fit into many cases. Also you should get an Intel SSD, they are more reliable and is better and faster than the force.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the Force 3 SSD and with the 60.00 instant rebate; go for it.

Still do not see the case but you appear to be a Corsair fan-gal and any of the corsair cases will accommodate the H100 cooler.

I would recommend you reconsider the PSU and go for the AX-850 which is an exceptional unit.

Not sure why you are looking at the 4TB drives; I would rather use 2TB drives, less money on drives and more for better performance upgrades.
