First off thanks for the reply MarshallR@ASUS. Great News on the fact that we have a release window now. I know it must be annoying hearing all this raving and ranting about some MOBO but thanks for the time for commenting. I will be purchasing the ThunderFX version, I do have 2 more questions does anyone know when the Vulcan Pro headset is coming out? I would love to use those with the new ThunderFX and what kind of price range is the ThunderFX is it going to be 400ish ? or more in the 350 range ? If you could get back to me I would much appreciate it !

Current availability info I just found out:

Both versions of the Maximus V Formula will be available AT THE LATEST first week of July. Production starts tomorrow.

Maximus V Extreme will be available a week later: mid-July (tentatively, it's still undergoing QA process).

Those dates are on condition nothing goes wrong in manuf. or delivery *touch wood*

Hum ... I'm not well placed to give you an answer as my rig is a fully watercooled one. But seems to be a good heatsink for me to begin with ... if someone as more comments to do it would help you for sure

Thanks for the news, but I want to know something ....
Asus take 4 month to release the M5F reviewed in march .... and only 1 month to release the M5E reviewed in June ....

So it's far away mid-may .... one month after the computex ...

So 478$ in Canada... I hope it's a joke. If not, i'll go with the EVGA for sure.

    Ouch ... the same here.
If it's true, waiting so long to be ripped off is just ... insane.
I really hope it's not coming over 350$ in Canada
