Amazon.com or Amazon.ca?
I hope to see the M5F page up to order for Newegg.ca !
I know digitalstar are usually a bit pricier but $499 AUD that's a joke considering an R4E is only $529. If other Aussie retailers stick to that I figure that puts the M5E somewhere around $600-$650. I was expecting $350-$399 for M5F and $500 - $525 for the M5E. The only reason I was contemplating a z77 system was nvidia being jerks and reducing the gtx 600 series to PCIe 2.0 on x79. I figured with an M5E running a 3 or 4 card SLI in x16/x8/x8 PCIe 3 or x8/x8/x8/x8 PCIe 3 would be better than x16/x16/x8 PCIe 2 or x16/x8/x8/x8 PCIe 2 on the R4E even if the M5E is losing a few percent due to it's PLX chip. Now Nvidia have released their little hot fix for x79 it makes choices more difficult. I could either A) pay through the nose (if digitalstars pricing is accurate) for a mainstream chipset system; B) import one from the US for what's looking like $150-$200 cheaper and just saying to hell with a warranty, what's the go with ASUS not offering an international warranty on mobos and GPUs anyway? they do it for laptops; or C) just buying an R4E and a 3930k for what's looking like the same price and hoping that Nvidias hot fix actually works properly. Getting fisted for tech pricing in Australia is really getting old.
PS this is in no way having a dig at ASUS I know you guys have no control over regional pricing. I'm just venting the pent up "why you cost 30% - 50% more here" rage i've experienced over every single component in my build. This rage has been compounded by only really having a laptop at the moment since I was waiting for Ivy to come out to replace my rig lost in the floods here early 2011. Then the wait was on the extreme mobos. Next if I'm not careful the wait will be for the gk110 "Big Kepler" GPUs. Ahh first world problems.

Anyone got any ideas on UK pricing yet?
The EVGA Z77 FTW board is going for £268 which seems not too bad for a board of its quality, I expect the MVEx to also retail around this but can't seem to get any indication of that the ASUS Z77 MVF is going to launch at? I was hoping for a lot closer to the £200 alongside things like the Fatal1ty board (similar set of features)
Digital Devil
