^ definitely looks like a sweet board, but it would be more than enough for my rig. Don't see myself going past 2-way SLI, practically speaking.
so does this mean the NDA is lifted if you already have a couple of guys giving mini-reviews?![]()

I get what you mean, I'd definitely welcome the additional width that the MVF would bring to my rig, even if it's a fairly minimal increase (just 0.5"). Length-wise it would be the same as ATX, but that would be fine, though. I got all the PCI slots I'll ever need, anyway. Even a slot for a discrete sound card (thinking Xonar DGX) to offload Dolby Home Theatre for my Astro MixAmp (forcing to find some use for it; can't sell it off over here).
That's the problem with getting a large tower -so tempting to stuff a ton of stuff in it. LOL.![]()
Yeah, I bought a MVGene initially, but it looked so silly in my case (and I needed a bigger board for SLI) so I returned it so I could wait for the bigger boards.
Ended up trading my 3770K for a 3930K though, so my RIVE is on its wayGot tired of the wait for the maximus and I'm already spending a lot, so may as well go all in I guess haha

I am only going to be running 2 graphic cards as well so I am going with the formula. The problem I have with the M5E E-ATX is the PCIE slots are to close together. I am running my 2 7970's now on my X58 sabertooth board and the 2 PCIE slots have the same spacing as the M5E E-ATX, which only give me about 1mm between my 2 cards. That doesn't leave much room for airflow. At least with the Formula there is an extra PCIE slot between the two cards.
The PCIe slots being that spaced apart would definitely help with the GPUs that ASUS has that have large air coolers, but I guess that leaves me with only SLI fittings as an option for connecting two waterblocked GTX 680s in the future. Would've preferred to use an EVGA SLI waterblock bridge for that, but the bridge EVGA made seems to be for tightly-spaced cards (bummer). Can't use the EK FC Link bridge which would've been the perfect alternative since I already spent some money on a EVGA GTX 680 backplate and high-flow bracket. *facepalm*
EDIT: BLT lists the ETA of the item to be within 15 business days. So it could take up to the third week of July at the latest. *shrug*

I have started looking for mvf alternatives. Just cant wait for one month more while guys from asus went underground or busy at oc events with mvf/e. Damn..
ASUS is pro at this I bought the ASUS Transformer Prime in november and it didnt come in the mail until march. Then it was dammaged so i sent it back and decided to get the Transformer Infinity which was announced in CES Jan to come out Q1 2012, well I have been waiting 6 months and it still hasn't come out they claim July now, but that is WAY past Q1. Good job ASUS, make me a sucker! Come out with premium products on a sub par release schedule!
Now I sit waiting for my Formula and my Infinity, neither on in my hands. No clue when they will follow their word and provide either one.
