You guys need to read through other posts and see the major problems the anti-virus programs are causing people. 9 out of ten get this problem resolved by changing the anti-virus to microsoft security essentials which is free by the way. It worked for me and I had the same problems all of you had on my g75vw.

UNinstalled all anti virus and background programs....

Nothing changed. I'v been all over other forums regarding these laptops with the same problems with D3.... this is the only place that remotely mentions anything about anti virus problems.
