Hi there,
any updates on this?
Out of nowhere I'm getting the same probs againg after S3 Resume as described - I didnt change anything?!
Could you have a look if this is maybe connected to my graphics card (ATI 7970) ?
Thx
Atlas

Hi there,
no updates?
I stil got the same problem back again!
@HiVizMan
Hi there - just tested BIOS1404 - but the problem stayed!
Only your beta 0017 Version works for me.....and with this one I also habe my probs...
So when can we see some progress here?
Please give me some sign here....
Thanks!
Atlas
I have none to give you. As I said in another thread last week I have now been working on this for 3 months and still not finding solution for you. Maybe we should swap boards out and see if that helps?
3 series MIVE, MIVG BIOS FLASH GUIDE
RAID GUIDE * Memtest86+ GUIDE * CAP GUIDE * USB BIOS Flahsback GUIDE * Win8 Rampage Install
ONLY IF 2003 BIOS or NEWER
To Flash back to 1xxx.ROM, Rename 1xxx.rom to ERALL.ROM and Use USB Flashback
i already tried swapping the boards and the CPU - problem persisted.
Also the RAM was exchanged - same prob!
And with the BIOS 0017 it does work!
So I suspect that the prob has to do with the BIOS....
no idea?
And as said - the newest 1404 does not include the changes you made with 0017....
But you said the other bios give you problems too, could be easier to sort those problems since I am getting no where with the original issue Atlas.

Yep - BIOS 0017 works *all* other BIOS Version do NOT work!
I also tried finally to swap out the RAM and got myself some Jigsawz RAM which is on the compatibility list - but NO effect.
I still got the same probs here....
Cant believe it....could you please have a look with these BIOS versions??
Any idea where we stand with getting these changes merged into the main line BIOS releases? I, as well, have to use this custom BIOS and would like to have the option to upgrade to newer BIOS revisions in the future.
I've got the exact same problem that MikeBlunt mentioned earlier in the thread.
When waking up from sleep the temp sensors are stuck at 91 degrees and multiplier is locked at x12.
My MB is the Rampage 4 Formula. I think the BIOS posted earlier in this thread is for the R4E isn't it? Currently running 1404, don't really want to go back to an older BIOS. Has anyone had this issue on the Rampage 4 Formula?
Some system specs are:
MB : Rampage 4 Formula
CPU : 3930K (C2 stepping)
RAM : G.Skill Ares 1600Mhz 16GB (4x4GB kit)
SDD : Crucial M4 128GB (Running firmware 0309)
PSU : Enermax Revo 1250W
i stumbled upon this thread while looking for a different problem, and i read most of the thread so i hope this wasn't already covered, but i had this problem and it turned out that the power plan in windows 7 somehow changed to high performance, which prevents throttling. i changed it back to balanced and throttling ensued. hope this helps and hope i didn't break any rule3s; i'm new...
