    I have serious doubts you're stable for more than a few hours (or minutes) with that low of a vcore setting..

    If so, congrats. You have one of the best chips I've seen on these forums.
    You will not believe this, 'cos i hardly believe my own luck!!! 4.7ghz@1.33v and 4.8ghz@1.36v stable in Prime95 and OCCT for hours!!! 4.9ghz@1.42v Extreme Phase and Speedstep on (voltage goes up to 1.51v under load) is usable 24/7 and gives no errors in both Prime95 and OCCT, but when putting under good load i can't keep it from reaching 90-92C temps which scares me and i turn it off after 4-5 minutes. I tweaked it for hours to find the best settings for 5.0ghz and the best for me was 1.43v + Extreme Phase on CPU and VCCSA on Extreme also (with other stuff tweaked also). Voltage goes up to 1.53 under load, speedstep is on to keep it as cool as i can when it's off load. It is very much usable 24/7, even stable in OCCT (untill again it reaches 90+C degrees), but picky about Prime95. I run both Cinebench and 3DMark 11 @ 5.0ghz (will post pics it the next post). So far this is the best chip i've had in my 16 years of PC building. To be able to run this kind of clocks with 32gb 2133 ram is beyond amazing, too bad my Corsair H100 is not keeping those temps down enough But hey, i'm happy with stable 4.7ghz @ 1.33v any day !!!

    Congrats man, sounds like you got a real winning chip.
    Wish mine was as good (I need 1.300 vcore @ 4.2ghz to be stable =P)

    @HiVizMan

    Any updates on your tests?
    BIOS running good - but out of 10 standbys I still get one failed standby....

    No Atlas I am not making any constructive progress.

    I am sorry. Does not mean I will leave this problem. Just that I have not succeeded with it yet.

    Your Beta bios solved the same problems for me too! Great work! Hope it will be implemented in the regular Bios updates.

    just joined this forum because im experimenting a similar problem with my 3570k + Saber-tooth Z77 and Samsung 30nm ram. Because of a failed overclock, i can no longer overclock my chip anymore because if i enter anything higher than 34 into the multiplier*? (not sure what its called but not the base clock) it automatically replaces anything i enter that is over 34 default as 34 as my highest multiplier. ive tried updating the bios with no luck, also tried resetting CMOS, and set default bios settings. Nothing helped. Hope someone can help me!

    Ill try replacing the memory dimms tonight and see how it goes

    On a side note: for some reason after my failed overclock i can no longer use the intagrated graphisc on my mobo, (plugging hdmi cable from monitor to mobo no longer works) the only way i can get video signal now is put in my video card and get the video feed from there. Mobo problem? CPU problem? software? i updated bios, cleared CMOS.

    Sounds like corrupt EC. You may have to RMA the board.

    Thanks for the BIOS Shamino, superb. My OC's have all been stable with lower Vcores as well as lower VCCSA & VTT. I have an insane amount of RAM that I like to use (64gb@2400) which always makes it more difficult to get things tightened up.

    The only problem I have been having is with my monitors coming out of sleep mode. They either come back on very slowly or occasionally not at all. Just wanted to let you know.....

    Thanks again.
