If both cards running at a single state are giving the same problem, then it points to the motherboard. I find it highly unlikely he has two defective cards with the exact same defect.

At that point, trying the second BIOS isn't a terrible idea considering that it is obvious somewhere within the motherboard is causing display issues.
Mate I think it is a good idea - heck I hope it works. Sorry if I made it sound like I thought it was daft. Not intended mate.

To the OP please do try and get your cards into another board, if at all possible.

I take it you have your board at default settings. F5 and enter. No overclock what so ever, not even ram.
