RIVE-3960X 4.8Ghz Tweaking to Near Perfection- Stability

Hello everyone, first of I would like to thank ROG for the awsome board, I have never been disappointed with a
ROG board to date, and I have had my share of them over the years!

First let me show you my computer build
    http://youtu.be/sXHF0u-MY_0
It is an awsome PC and Trubyd44 did an excellent job just as shown in the video.

One thing have been changed in this PC since I recived it a month ago, I swapped the RAM with this model here:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231510
I didn't need the 32GB at 1600 speeds or less and just adding more stability issues to the system,
    so that’s why I made the change to G.Skill 16GB @2133.

I am going to explain my experience and what issues I am currently facing with the 4.8Ghz overclock.
I am rock solid stable at 4.7Ghz and 4.6Ghz. but with all the money put into this system I am determined to run
at 4.8Ghz in offset mode. I have done my research on offset thanks to Raja and other contributors to this subject. I am using BIOS 1202

I get a replicable BSOD X101 while playing only this game (BattleField 3) and it happens exactly 3-5 minutes of game play.
I know x101 is a vcore but just hold on to this. I have taken vcore up to 1.44v in offset mode but the problem still happens!
so it is not vcore and I know for a fact now that my 4.8Ghz runs stable at 1.393-1.400 vCore.

VTT and VCCSA all are set manually to 1.200v, so what I suspected was the problem is VTT not having enough volts.
so I went to 1.250 VTT and took down VCCSA to 1.050 as rated by XMP specs in the SPD information.

Since I have VTT at 1.250 the game will not BSOD in 3-5 minutes but rather 20-30 minutes of game play.
so I am at a point where I either take up VTT one notch up which is around 1.256v (current) or 2 notch up at 1.26x (which changes color to purple) as you know my RIVE is watercooled using Koolance block so no heat issues.

There is something needs to be tweaked I am just not sure what, I know the CPU needs more power
from one of those settings but not sure where to provide it from, I dont want to take VTT any higher
    than I have to.

Mind you this is the only game I am experiencing crash on and it took me weeks tweaking this system.
here is screen shots of my current configuration and I hope it helps others:

Another important thing to note and is very odd,
I know Raja and the others are recommending taking CPU Current Capability to 140%-180%
but if I ago any higher than 120% then CPU Power Phase Control becomes greyed out and is fixed set to Extreme

I don't know why is that happening in my case, I know Raja recommended 140%+ and CPU Phase Control to optimized, but that is not possible in my case.

My suggestion is set CPU Current Capability to AUTO and A.I. Overclock Turner to Manual, set ram manually with the same number you have in XMP mode. You may need Disable C3-C6 report.

You can try this first and post back. Every CPU are different, but let's try to get your's stable

For me C3,C6 are set enable when using 5.0 - 5.1 GHz. However, it wont work on 4.5-4.9 GHz. I had randomly BSOD 124 or 101 when running at 4.8GHz with C3, C6 enable.

Some research show that disable C3,C6 MAY lower SSD performence, but not for all users. I recommand disable and try if stable.

Hi, Eustia... Thanks for the information. I'm in OC and I do not use the "C". I keep them all off and the performance of SSD (RAID 0) are regular.
