Thanks for that quick reply to this thread, you somehow responded to all of my questions concerning the G75 in less than a minute. I'll stick up with my G74sx-RH71 till the 6 core 12 threads mobile cpu's getting on the market... yeah this might take time and I don't care.
Cheers man.
Did the ram tweak, and got downclocked
Can you tell me what this "throttles under load" means?
Is this what causes this issue? And if so, will a BIOS update fix that issue?
When I'm playing a game, listening to music, or watching a video, I get these massive stutters ... as if the CPU is suddenly experiencing 100% load. It causes the mouse to stop moving and the audio to screech really bad.
I was worried I had a defective unit, but I see that other people are reporting the same problem, so clearly it's not just my particular system.
Will a BIOS update solve this?
As far as I'm concerned, this is a MASSIVE, show-stopper type of problem. Completely unacceptable. I still have my last 2 laptops (one is 2+ years old, the other is 4+ years old), and neither of them have this problem. Ridiculous!
