I have the Gateway P-7811 FX right now, its getting quite old and I've had problems with it since day 1, had to send it back twice to the USA with the problems not fully fixed. I think after almost 4 years its time for me to get a new one anyway.

I've been looking around and people say 29th April is the release day so I guess I will wait until then.

Regarding the UK sale, yes I can buy the G53 and G74 now, but I am not sure if its going to be available right away after ASUS has launched the product. These things are much more widely available in the States .
About the G53 and G74, I didn't mean that you should by one of them but just to point out that you can purchase them in your country

I've also seen that the release (for purchase) day with Intel Ivy Bridge is 29 april. So I hope that's right

We will have to wait and see about world wide release (I hope it is 29 april). I'm more excited to see G75 in action than going to buy it.
I purchased G73SW-3DE 9 months ago, and I'm very satisfied with it So there is no need for me to upgrade right away =/

Edit: looks like it has been officially released but you can't officially buy it yet.

From what the first article says, there are certain computers you can buy as of today that have an ivy bridge CPU, but you can't order the CPU itself yet.

yeah but that preview is with GTX670M Fermi. I am looking for preview with GTX 660M keppler. I have just noticed one suspicious thing. The version with GTX660M keppler is cheaper than Gtx 670M fermi(about 125$ - all other components even windows version are identical)

Simply, if you read that review, you must consider that Kepler it is better.
