Only 3d Version has better CPU? Normal version has Intel Quad Core i7-3610QM (2.30GHz) and 3D version 3720(2,60GHz). Is an option to get version without 3D with i7-3720(2,60GHz)?

Newegg has the only model I have seen with the 3720QM (ignoring all the popular customizing resellers). It's a bit pricey but it has all the bells and whistles, except for 3D.

I have a G74SX and it's silent. Little to no noise, even at max capacity.

I'm somewhat disappointed with this release. 3610QM received 7.4 WEI score when my G74SX's 2670QM gets 7.5. I know WEI isn't a big deal, but why would this happen? Also, 560M outperforms 660M easily, mainly because of 660M's extremely low memory bus. The only thing I like about this new release is its shape, which also may cause some problems related to cooling.

    I purchased the G75

I actually purchased the G75 Best Buy Model. I am still in the process of debating whether I will keep it though. I am not sure if I really want to go with the weight and size of the laptop, regardless of how good it is on heating. However, I can't really find anything lighter at this very moment that has an ivy bridge and at least a decent GPU (around or right below the GTX 660M). If I keep it, I will be adding a SSD and Ram.

As for the G75, it seems great so far. I haven't had a chance (nor do I know the best way yet) to overclock the GPU. I do have an issue with the sound. The system is supposed to be a 2.1 system, however only a little bit of sound comes from the main speakers and all sound is coming from the sub. This means at a higher level, the sound is absolutely horrible. When going into the Windows Settings you can see that the whole thing is treated as a 5.1 system which is why the 2.1 does not seem to work correctly (there is no 2.1 setting).
