Hello,
I have the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme -Z - LGA 1155 - Z68 - Republic of Gamer Series - ATX Intel Z68 ATX DDR3 2200 Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131760) currently with the GTX 590. I was wondering if I add a second GTX 590 on this board would it support it? The reason I ask is because the board "Supports NVIDIA® 3-Way SLI™ Technology" --- however, it is my understanding when you run the GTX 590 in SLI it is considered a QUAD-SLI setup. Does that mean this board will not support this kind of setup? Also, if it will support it, will I have a performance loss as a result of the 3-Way SLI limitation or other limitations set by the board?
Appreciate any insight regarding this, thanks!
