This rig is one week old. R4E. 16GB Patriot DDR3-1600. 3930. GTX-480. H80 cooler.
I have been running this board at the 4.7 overclock with XMP enabled for a week now with no problems.
This morning the machine was sitting at the "no operating system" message. I reset the BIOS to defaults and the machine boots fine.
However, if I change ANYTHING related to speed, the machine will not boot. The fans start, but no video, and 30 seconds later the machine simply powers down. This happens if I simply enable XMP, change the DRAM Frequency to 1600 from the default 1333, or any overclock attempt.
If I stick to standard defaults, it does boot. AGAIN, this rig has been running fine for a week. CPU temps under load max at 46.
