Ocz vertex 3 help, x79 rampage IV

Hi guys I've been running windows 7 on 2 ocz drives set to raid 0 with no probs for wks until I noticed a error MSG next to one of the drives on boot up, so I removed the duff drive and formatted the 2nd now when I install windows I get the below MSG (see pic) I've used all the setting in bios but cant escape it, if I use a standard drive it's fine, also used different versions of windows but no luck, I can put windows back on as a Rad0 setup and it works but the 2nd drive starts to error so sending that back, any advice thanks.

I think if you raid the drives you have to delete the raid set in the intel (ctrl+I) raid set up to free the two drives. then you can do what you like with them. If you don't break raid that way the drives are still marked part of a raid setup.

I wiped my drives with the Linux usb tool and flashed the latest firmware and just left AHCI on since that was default. In the boot menu "Hard drive BBs priorities" I disable everything not my windows drive....but I 'm sure this is unnecessary. I cant for the life of me think of another explanation for your problem.

Cheers, I enabled hot plug in bios and it worked lol going to try raid0 again later see if that fixes the drive error as when I boot up it says error next to 1 drive only but windows boots fine, thanks for trying to help. Will report back if it works.
