I've reached Error 16 at pass 46% , not good news but I'll begin recording again. It's been almost 5 minutes since the last error. I'll try to record the times as well, in seconds after the test has started, according to MemTest86+

While I'm waiting for error 17 I'd like to state a few recent problems. Zeus now has two operating systems, the first Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit, the second Windows Home Premium 32 bit. I had no difficulties installing the new operating system but a few problems with software, it's always seemingly random, whatever I use the most fails more often. Because I now have 2 operating systems I get a little confused as to which I was using when the system crashes, but I think 64 bit has had more BSODs. The last BSOD was definitely 64 bit and the error was: Page Fault in Nonpaged Area. I've researched the causes for that type of error and that is why I'm running MemTest86+ right now. Since I use UDK the most, I seem to have a lot of program crashes while using it, and the harder I make Zeus run the more often the errors/program failures/BSODs. Is there a way to fix my memory profile so that these errors don't happen or should I return the RAM to G.Skill and request a replacement or a new model?

I'm at pass 76% after 1 hour. No error 17 yet

I've finally caught up at 80% of pass 1, it's now the middle of the Random number sequence again so I expect few errors if any for a while.

I have XMP enabled, G.Skill tech support confirmed it over the phone. Without XMP I had many, many more issues.

I'm pretty sure this RAM is of the wrong latency. I was told before by... I just now recieved error 45. It's unique because of the error bit difference, all other 44 errors have been 2 bits off while this is only 1 bit off. It seems like a significant difference to me but I'm no expert

Sorry I was distracted. I was saying that this RAM I believe is 11-11-11 something, but most reccomended RAM for the Rampage 4 Extreme begins with 9-11-11 something. However, I asked G.Skill if this RAM was compatible and they reassured me but I'm not so sure, since I've had months of troubles with it.

I'm not going to bother writing the times anymore because they come too fast to be accurate. Actually, I'm just going to watch the results and record the odd error bits. So far I have now 2 errors with 10000000 under the Err-Bits lable.

Well, I don't think it worth to record/post the errors... if there are errors, it's meaning that something is wrong... I think, you should try an other memory kit...

Zka17, I've already replaced the Video card, I'd hate to have to downsize the RAM too. I'll call G.Skill with these results and see what they have to say, then base it off another reputable company, I'll go with Kingston or Corsair. I'm not sure how many more passes it'll run but it's finished with 0 and at 100% of pass 1. Another day wasted

I'll begin looking for new RAM locally anyways. One question: is this memory issue the culprit of all my remaining problems? Okay another question: Was my AMD Sapphire HD 7950 even faulty or was the RAM issue causing that too?

Yet ANOTHER person having issues with RipJaws ram... Ive been on here for over a month, and have mentally recorded 6+ or so different threads of issues, all ram related, all either Gskill or corsair. o_O ...

If your looking for good reliable Ram, heres what i use:
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...82E16820226223 Bought two kits =16Gb. Running in ROG Crosshair 5
Also, Ran this ram in GigaShyt... i mean Gigabyte 990FX Ud-7 and worked well in their too.

Haven't used this, but it looks bad ass:

so if you DO have to replace your ram, i highly recommend what im currently running.

If your in canada, canada computers is slightly cheaper

Of course you will see lots of issues with G.Skill and Corsair as they are 2 of the most popular brands of RAM but that doesn't make them bad. I have been running corsair ram since I did my first build and never had an issue (Except for the occasional pebkac not pushing them in far enough XD).

This may just be because I'm an Aussie but until I came here I had never heard of Mushkin at all and none of my usual suppliers sell their products. 6+ issues in about a month isn't much and doesn't make Corsair or G.Skill bad brands nor does it make Mushkin better.

    Back to the original topic,

My only advice is to continue on your current path. Speaking to G.Skill will certainly help your case along, as with Zka I can only speculate currently as to whether you RAM is the culprit but currently it is the most likely so work through that one and hope that 10 others don't appear from underneath it. Sorry it's not particularly helpful.

Sorry my details might not be correct and this advise maybe given before, but it's hard to follow exactly after 5 pages:

You bought 2x16GB kits of 2400? It's recommended not to by two kits and put them together to make 1 big kit. Even if they are the same kit from the same company it might not work because they haven't been qualified together. Slight variances in the ICs, especially at high frequency can make the system unstable.

Are you trying to run them at 2400? Are you sure the CPU IMC is capable of it? Remember not every CPU can do.

XMP doesn't cover some 2nd and no 3rd tier timings. You might need to loosen these beyond 2133 to make it stable. I don't know enough about this to advise but it's what I hear often from OCers like Raja and Shamino.

Another route of investigation is to try 2/4 DIMMs together to check if it's DIMM density issue, IMC issue or memory issue.
