First time PC Case Modder - Looking for TIPS/Tricks/Information

So, i've been looking through the forums and seening some of the crazy designs people have been making it's made me wonder i'd quite like to do something with a new case i'm going to be getting for my pc

So with this case it's pretty bland and with zero percent in any case modding i was wondering if some of the more experienced would share how they started out and which type of direction would be best to head in, my plan's for now are:

Cable Sleeving (Blue & White)
Modular PSU so i can make that happen
Antec 1100 - Full case of fans with: " http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cooler-Maste.../dp/B0037RD34I " but i'm thinking of a colour theme too inside of the PC with the fan's but i'm not too sure how that will go.

I'm also looking for a little light to be mounted inside of my case to shine down on the Motherboard (There was a modder that had this and i cannot seem to find the thread, anyone know where that came from?)


I'm looking for links/information/how-to's, what i am definatly not wanting is to rebuild the case into some crazy design as i am not very good at those types of things. But i wouldn't mind do something that isn't too techinal it could go too far with the case, Maybe some more fan expansions or things like this.


I would even be up for the idea of sending the case to someone's home and work with them to make a design for a good $$ (within U.K only).
